All are going fine, except for the previously installed Lotus SmartSuite 9. It installed fine on the previous HD. When I could not get it to go, I ordered a new disk from Amazon, and got the same message. This is what it says: "Error The installation cannot continue.

Based on my research, I have always been logged on as administrator, I have attempted to log on and setup directly, I have loaded the software on my computer and tried it from there, checked all the compatibility areas, and always the same message.

If it fits, I will also attach the setup readme file log, which is interesting. I had read somewhere that the disk might be trying to install onto a previously assigned drive, and therefor it may be trying to install on the E partition.

I do not know how to change that, if that is so. I have checked all the compatibility boxes, and, unless I missed some, that should be good. The disk provider says that all other disks sold have worked fine.

When the Installer wizard comes on, it flicks through the first part, and does not give an option for the language or for where to install the package--not allowing me even to use the "back" button to get there--leading me to believe that something is wrong with Installer wizard? I do not know how to check this, except that I have downloaded all the new updates. I have gone into DOS in the command prompt, to learn more, but do not know enough to ferret out what to do.
