Using it with Netflix seems to work great. You CAN do searches, I think people didn't read their manuals, or didn't update the firmware when they first set it up. More on this below. Using it with the composite connections, as our TV has both of the HD inputs filled up already.

No biggie, with this TV the quality still looks amazing. Haven't had any problems with lag or glitches. Cons: Setup of the unit. Menus are a bit slow, but not terrible. I used the WiFi network, that was easy, but it seems to take approx 2 minutes to establish a full connection to the internet.

No real problem though. Once its connected, it flies just fine, and I'm using the wireless. Netflix users: You will have to create a Sony account, fairly painless, to register the unit, then make sure you have already created the Netflix account prior to connecting and be sure to have a computer up and online at the same time it even tells you this.

So takes a couple of steps and really needs patience. As I said the menus can be a little slow to switch between choices. Other cons? Possibly, still adjusting to using this. May put up another review down the road. Have yet to play with many of the other features it provides. Connect it to your network and immediately do the upgrade check in the menu. I think this corrects some issues with Netflix stuff.

Netflix users again: You can browse your que, your last watched, your suggestions, then you can also view titles per category of things like Action, Drama, etc. You hit the options button on your remote, you can then get a search tool. You access that and you can input a title or even just part of a title, actor, whatever.

Only difficulty with this is, you have to use the remote to enter the letters, and its like using a phone number pad to do text messages. Bit cumbersome, but it works.

Alternatively you can just browse via a computer and simply add movies to your que to make it easier if you want.

For me this wasn't a con, but I can see it being so for others. Hopefully Netflix will add more to the instant options soon.
